INOVASI WO 07 Data Collection for INOVASI in East Java and West Nusa Tenggara

The objectives were to capture the student learning outcomes, classroom and school practices, as well as contextual practices in pilot regions before the start of the program. For this task order, REDI commenced the tender to supply the consulting service of the aforementioned baseline survey based on our expertise and experience. The Innovation for Indonesia’s School Children (INOVASI) baseline data collection was targeted to primary schools in INOVASI districts, and also potentially neighboring districts.

 

The data collected was included, but not limited to: (a) student learning assessments; (b) teacher surveys and scenario-based assessments; (c) classroom teaching observation in mathematics and Bahasa Indonesia; (d) principal interviews and school resources, policies and practices inventory; (e) parent and community surveys. The study implemented both quantitative and qualitative data collection methods. The total number of participating schools is 15 with a total number of 885 respondents.
