Presentation of Study Results on Digital Finance Studies

On Thursday, November 16, 2023, REDI was one of the presenters in the activity entitled ‘Knowledge Sharing Event: Pilot insights from the use of Agent-Network Managers in Tier 3 Cities and Beyond’ which was held by Consultative Group to Assist the Poor (CGAP), The World Bank and took place at the Alila SCBD Hotel, Jakarta. REDI, represented by the Director, ibu Erlyn Yuly Astuti, delivered the results of two studies carried out in the East Nusa Tenggara region, namely (i) Pilot test plan: Mitra Bukalapak expansion in Tier 3 cities which was a collaboration of the Consultative Group to Assist the Poor (CGAP) -Micro Save Consulting-Mitra Bukalapak-REDI-KOMIDA, and (ii) Rajawali Expanding Financial Access Points in Flores East Indonesia collaboration CGAP-REDI-Rajawali.

 

The activity opened with a presentation of the results of studies related to digital financial literacy in several countries in the world by Emilio Hernandez – Senior Financial Sector CGAP.

 

This activity was attended by representatives of CGAP, the World Bank, National Banking, Practitioners in the field of digital finance. Organized with the design of presenting study results and focused group discussions (2 sessions), this activity shares learning related to efforts to increase digital financial literacy in the Tier 3 cities of Indonesia which requires specific approaches and strategies and is linked to the local context of society in Indonesia.
