Study of the Impact of Branchless Banking on Increasing Access to Financial Services for Households

The results of a brief analysis obtained from this study were factors that can increase community savings account ownership, namely the location of the respondent’s residence, the location of the bank office based on ease of access for the community to reach it, household business ownership in the community, island status (Java and outside Java) as well as the amount of household expenditure in one month. From the study carried out, recommendations given were the need to increase the role of banks as agents of development with optimal service networks.
